Refunds
Tickets cannot be refunded unless an event is canceled or rescheduled and you can no longer attend the rescheduled date.
Exchanges/Credits
In the event you cannot attend an event, you may exchange your tickets for any other event on sale or receive a credit on your account. If you choose to exchange to another event, you will have to pay the difference in ticket price if your new tickets are more expensive. In the event your new tickets are lower in cost than your current ones, you will receive the difference as an account credit.

At The Studio Theatre, our subscriptions do not include Preview shows. Season subscriptions are for performances only.
All seats are chosen by you! Seat Maps are located on each show page.
The Studio Theatre's floorplan changes for every show, but we always do our best to post a Seat Map at the bottom of each individual show page. So check there to see your show's Seating Chart! Also, the space is very intimate so no matter where you sit you will feel like you are part of the action.
Can't find your ticket?! Come on time to The Studio Theatre regardless! We are still able to locate your reservation and seat you, just the same. You don't need to risk being late to find it; come on time and we will look you up in our system under the name it was purchased instead. Enjoy the show and breathe easy!
At The Studio Theatre, the doors to our venue will open 30 minutes before curtain.
Even if a show is sold out, you may still be able to get a seat to it. We have a wait list each show night. Just arrive at 6pm for the show you want (or 1 hour before curtain) and add your name to the list. Then kick back in the bar until 5 minutes to curtain. If we have open seats, you will have an opportunity to purchase them and see the show.
For most shows at The Studio Theatre, business casual is suggested.
At The Studio Theatre, there is no formal meet and greet, but if you are lucky you may spot one or two actors in the bar after they have gotten out of costume. So head next door and grab a drink, actor spotting can be such fun!
At The Studio Theatre, most of our shows run for about four weeks with five to six performances a week. The run time of each production will vary, so check the information page of the show you are attending for more specifics.
The Studio Theatre Tierra del Sol is a 99-seat black box theatre space. A Black Box is a flexible space. There are many ways to configure stage and audience areas. The typical ways we can construct the space for performance include: thrust, proscenium, and in the round. We could also configure seats in a "cafe style," alley way, and more. The walls, ceiling, risers, floor, are all black. This serves as a blank canvas to bring any show to life. There are risers for the seating with the stage on the floor. We produce plays and musicals here from scratch. Unlike The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center, this theatre is produced in-house. The Studio Theatre does not rely solely on touring shows to come into The Villages to host entertainment. The actors, musicians, sets, costumes, lights, and sound- the performances you see at The Studio will be unique to this venue alone. We are excited for you to come and join us!

At The Studio Theatre, preview shows are full performances of the production before it is actually open. Audiences get to see the show at a discount while the performers get to have the chance to perform the show in front of an audience. Rehearsals are still underway at this point and the director can make changes to the show based on the feedback received from the audience. Also, previews are still part of the rehearsal process, so be advised that the show might have to "hold" for a myriad of reasons from technical to artistic. Previews are fun because (1) you get a discount, (2) you can see the show before any reviews are written, and (3) because things are still changing you might get to see a part of the show that a regular audience doesn't.
The Studio Theatre has a show rating system. Please see the rating given to each show before determining whether or not the show's content is acceptable to your taste.

For the Studio Theatre, we will have one large audition every summer to cast the shows for the following season and we will post that audition call on Facebook as well as list it in The Daily Sun. As for ushers, we won't need many for such an intimate theatre, but stay tuned! The Studio Theatre also attends FPTA's every year and we strongly encourage you to attend that audition.
